Anybody here that justs gets together with friends or musicians that you know strictly for having fun playing together?

    No agendas
    No egos
So what if you miss a few notes.....

Just a fun time and being happy................??

I'm 54 and get together once a month at a buddy's (Drummer) house. We keep equipment there. People just need to bring instruments and/or a microphone if they sing. The three of us "Core" players started playing together in the 80's. We've remained friends through the years and jammin' allows us to get together, BS, maybe try a couple of new (to us!) songs. We have a rotation of guests sit-in which keeps things fresh. No earplugs required. No tear down, just cover up. Just FUN!

Nothing special, just something my friend tried recording one afternoon:

That's basically what my band is all about. If we don't enjoy it, we don't do it. Makes it easy to get along, although it's not so driven that we get to play out a lot.

Happens all the time up here, and I love it. The area where I live is quite literally overrun with musicians,so it's always a good time with plenty of instrument hopping and good natured ribbing.
