Hi, I decided to test Götz gut strings on G and D position and Golden or Silver Slap strings on A and E position. Can anyone recommend some other strings- like Lenzner gut strings or any other? Once I got to play briefly Götz strings and they seemed comfortable. How is their durability? Currently I m using Innovation Rockabilly set Med Tension.

Naked gut strings need some maintenance (burning/cutting separated fibers and oiling) and a good setup (no sharp edges at bridge or nut, wide grooves). Then they last for a really long time.
Cheap guts can have some bumps, which can cause buzzing. If the surface is even, then no need to worry about them.
I have used Efrano naked gut (cheaper german gut manufacturer) on G and D with Silver Slaps. Worked well.

Is the tension of gut strings and nylon strings more or less the same. How about the tone and volume diference?
