This is one of the prettiest G&Ls that I've ever seen. The neck on this thing has a finish on the back and over the board that brings out the awesome in it. I tried to grab some pics of it, but the true beauty of it is hard to capture. Also the dots have a pearled effect to them, not just black (equally hard to capture on camera).

The frets are still like new.
Two dings, one on the back of the neck that can be felt, but is not too bad. One near the jack on the body. Check pics.

    Low action.

If this was an L2K I would be all over this. Great bass!

I'm seeing 1/4 sawn neck! A real +! Nice bass! These are cool basses and have a sound all their own. (although the sound is somewhat Stingrayish) A great bass and generally over looked. GLWTS

Are the necks on these like stingrays?

I'd say similar. I've owned both stingrays and a L1500, but not at the same time. The G&Ls can come with many different neck options. This one feels a lot like a stingray to me. Thanks.
