Descriptions are a bit flakey. It says wood binding but that isn't shown in the picture. And the comparisons below seem to list the body as basswood.

But it's a HUGE deal especially with the molded case. I paid more than that for my USED G&L L2500 in swamp ash with blue burst and wood binding. (of course mine was like new, but still...)

Only two left! So I don't know what their return policy is if the bass isn't as described, and I'm have a GAS attack over the deal and I've already got one exactly like it! Cripes, it's WORSE than that! I've also got a USA L2500 in blueburst and fretless, not to mention I've got a natural L2500 Tribute as well. I don't DARE buy another one! Allow me to say that if this is as described and it is a USA blueburst L2500 in swamp ash, anyone who buys one will NOT be sorry! Go for it guys if there is any decent return policy if it's not as described.

I got the call Sunday morning after ordering Saturday night. Price was for a Tribute. Burst my balloon big time.

Good news is the wife said she wanted me to buy the USA model, so it is in the works. I'll keep you guys posted.

It was mislabeled. But Jeff got me a deal I could not refuse on the USA version. Then he even drop shipped it to me overnight from G&L. Great people at Musicstorelive.com. I'd buy from them again.
