    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNafaIjBy5Q
how can I achieve this tone? using a pick? a certain technique? a certain rig and eq? a certain bass?
I've made some research and decided to buy the IBANEZ SR600 NTF, will I be able to acheive this tone using this bass?

Probably an Ibanez or something similar would work.

(by the way I don't know anything about this band)

I looked up Kalan Blehm's gear:
"I use Ernie Ball Music Man basses, Orange Cabs and heads and a couple other things ; )"

And I guess just play with a pick. Looks like a Stingray bass.

At first i read that and was like what that didn't sound a stingray at all, Then i re listened and it made sense.
