Gibson Ripper Fretless, needs no introduction.
I think less than 1000 of these were made.

    Unlined ebony fingerboard
    Natural Finish

Everything is original and in great working order and the neck is straight. The fingerboard has no significant damage, and it seems that the bass has worn flatwounds its entire life.

The only negative things are that the pots are a little dirty/scratchy when changing the volume, and that the nut has the edge chipped off on the G string side. The string stays in place and it does not affect function, however.

Comes with a vintage Gibson hardshell case. Period correct, although not that EXACT case that this bass left the factory with; I acquired it separately.

    Thanks

    $1500 shipped

If this is the same one that sold on Ebay a few weeks ago it is a 1979 model.

Was just playing a 75 Ripper fretted bass, some very cool tones can be had.
A can of De Oxit Red spray will help with the scratchy pots, can get it at most electrical supply stores.
