This is a Gibson SG bass that is a tone monster and an incredibly fun bass to play, but I'm needing some cash and it's still third in line after my Ric and Stang, so I've got to let it go. This bass is the "faded" finish that feels incredible, and it's got some fantastic mods done to it. A previous owner had a thumb rest and Kahler tremolo professionally installed and they both make it a better all-around bass (IMHO). You can, of course, just unscrew the arm and have a more solid bridge than the stock bridge. The original bridge and all paperwork and adjustment tools are included, along with the original Gibson case. This bass has been played, so there is some play wear including some buckle worming on the back and some wear at the thumb rest, and the case's handle was broken at some point and replaced by a previous owner with a piece of rope and some duct tape. The neck is fabulous with almost no signs of wear, and it has had flats on it for just about all of it's life. Only trade I'd really be interested in would be a Danelectro or Jerry Jones baritone, Bass VI kind of thing (plus cash as needed).

Man, that's sweet. Reminds me a whole lot of Mark Olson's "Dance Attack" SG. Very cool.

I just love a modded bass that stays with the vintage, old-school theme..... Meaning the Kahler.:D

That's beautiful. In a sick, depraved way.

What are those gray half-circles on either side of the bridge?

I've not taken this bridge off, but it seems to be a felt pad that covers the original bridge's plug holes and keeps it from marring the finish.

I've got your intake gasket money to trade for the bass.

    No eBay fees either....

    Thanks.
