    Gibson SG Supreme Bass FS/FT

The first of Gibson's "Guitar of the week," and limited to a production run of 400 basses.

Short scale bass, breeze to play:

    • Mahogany body, capped in flamed maple
    • Mahogany neck, rosewood board
    • Block inlays
    • Large neck humbucker
    • Mini neck humbucker
    • Passive electronic
    • Individual volume controls
    • Single tone control
    • Gibson hard case

Short scale bass, unlike the EB0 and EBe no neck dive. Pickups give that uniquely Gibson sound with the mudiness of the vintage Gibsons.

Bass is all original, no modifications, or changes, in near mint condition.

Due to various issues with Paypal, I prefer a USPS money order. If this is a deal breaker, I will go with Paypal.

Asking $999 obo shipped to the lower 48.

While I really need to thin the herd, I may be open to trades--no Fenders please.

Your post originally did not show anything, hence the confusion from the previous poster who deleted his post after seeing the now functional thread! Whew! GLWTS!

It really is a sweet bass. I have a 68 EB3 and this bass plays circles around it--lighter, better neck, and a cleaner tone

    Thanks

hmmmmm..... Are you interested in trading for my (I'll say) 1974 Gibson EB-0? It is cherry, has three point bridge, in good shape (usual dings, nothing major). It's a little too heavy for me and I am playing not collecting.

Would you be interested in trading for, say, an Epiphone EB-0 modified with a couple additional pickups, string-through, a green & yellow burst on the back and a large crudely drawn viking face on the front?

I kid, of course... That SG is tasty...

  10. I've had my eye on this on this while, she's a beauty.
