    Depending on your fingertip chemistry, some people find thundergut strings to be sticky, especially on the heavier gauge E and A.

    I replaced them with pahoehoes and left the D and G thunderguts which aren't sticky, but are much more stable than the pahoehoe D and G.

    Thunderguts are brighter than pahoehoes, but with reduced treble the tone is very even string to string.

    There's a little scratch on the bottom.
