I found a Dakota Red Mustang Bass (MIJ) on CL for $400. Is that a good deal?

If the Mustang is clean, then it is underpriced by a hundred bucks or so. The red models seem to come up for resale less frequently than the Oly White ones.

Of course, this depends entirely on the condition of the bass, and it amazes me how few people ever give this a second thought here. :rollno:

BUT...if I found that on my CL here and it was in good technical condition (no neck/fret/trussrod problems, etc.), I would probably buy it today and with no haggling...though I hate the color.

I haven't seen one on my local CL for over a year, and I check every day. :meh:
