Hey everyone, Thanks to a facebook posting, I found this great site for learning how to play jazz. It's called www.jazzeveryone.com. the site is run by a trumpeter named Willie and is endorsed by several top players. There are many ways to approach the info on the site but he definitely has a step by step approach to getting the jazz language in your ears. You can pay $20 a month, yearly or lifetime.
    Worth every penny!!!!

I like it too, and have mentioned it elsewhere. Really, it is a very good resource, even if it does not follow the instructional path that many people would probably expect. Matter of fact, I'd say it may by their greatest asset.

GastonD, I'm really digging it.....I learn better with a spoon fed system like this...do you or have you transposed the exercises to different keys? Just wondering if I'm doing it right..I've.missed so much in all my other music studies by being lazy. I don't want to miss anything.
