Great YouTube vid with a guy playing a jazz tune with many different basses. Lovely!

Not sure if anyone here has seen this delightful home made video (but sounds quite professional)...

Jazz tune where each section is played with a different bass, ear and eye candy here, and the guy is a top notch player.

    Enjoy, everyone!

Nice video - I wish the music wasn't quite as loud so as to hear the basses better.

really cool, plus a lot of finger style which sometimes doesn't make it into the youtube bass videos

I've seen that vid before. In fact, I think someone might've posted it last year, but it's still worth bringing up again.

Three things I dig about it:

    • The sound of that Rob Allen Deep 5 :bassist:
    • Wrapping up the tune with the bowed cellobass
    • How much fun it looks like he's having while playing (I wanna get to that level of casual comfort while playing too!:bawl:)

It's funny because I play/own a Jazz and the '71 J just sounded like "home". That Adamovic was fantastic sounding. I was surprised by how much I liked the Ric in that context. Cool vid, thanks for posting.

    Cool video!

I am biased towards Fodera and Fender as that is what I play and Rob Allen as I pick one up next week.

In any case, the Adamovic sounded absolutely killer. Best sounding bass IMO by far.

This has been posted many times, not that I'm complaining. It's one of the best videos on the interwebs. The fingerstyle on the rick turner is my favorite.

The playing is amazing. It also debunks the theory that a particular type of instrument is designed to play only one type of musical style.

The guy's solid on any of those basses. I guess I just gotta work harder & smarter.
