What Doesn't Kill You - Kelly Clarkson
Moves Like Jagger - Maroon 5
Ok, confession over.
The Sweet Escape - Gwen Stefani
Lights - Ellie Goulding
Candy Girl - New Edition
Tonight Tonight - Hot Chela Rae
Call me maybe - Carlie Rae Jepsin
Lots of 'em. Too many to list. I'm such a whore for music.
Cannot stand pop. However, Somebody I Used To Know grew on me.
There are two current songs that I can say I do like.
Bruno Mars - Locked Out Of Heaven
Call me maybe ... I think I have a crush on Carly Rae Jepson
Call Me Maybe is like a virus, infectious
Fall Out Boy aren't quite hip around here but I loved the heck out of "I don't care", it's catchy as a pop song can be and is actually quite fun to play (three chord songs aren't always bad). Currently arranging that one for my band, revamped the bass line quite a bit already, gonna drop it on my mates later today...
"Love Will Keep Us Together" - The Captain and Tennille
Pretty much anything from Taylor Swift or Cascada I like. I also like Journey for the most part, but that mostly seems to get flak around here
Uptown Funk You Up by Mark Ronson. My guitarist downloaded it and it plays every once in a while during set breaks. I know it's pop but man the bass line just grooves so much. I would love to play it live, but my band is sans horn section.
Nice. I prefer "Don't go Breaking my Heart" by Elton and Kiki.
Oh, and "hold On" by Wilson Phillips and "Unpretty" by TLC, and......
"Silly Love Songs" - Macca
I'm a sucker for pop songs much to my youngest childs chagrin.
The ones that have caused her the most embarrassment so far...
Sexy Back ~ Justin Timberlake ( YEAH! ) This was like crack for me ( as was my daughters griping hah! )
Sexy and I know it ~ LMFAO -- pretty much the same as above. I'd bump this on my home computer and my daughter would try to drown it out with Skillet
Taylor Swift ~ Love Story. It was my daughters fault... Taylor was her favorite thing back then. The song grew on me and BAM! I'm singing it in the car with her hiding her head in the back seat. The shame!
I have some guilt (i suppose) about having played this video on loop, non-stop, for a few days straight... and enjoyed it. Still love the song. I'd even go as far as saying it's my desert island choice:
OK... I'll play - there's some old and new stuff in my public soul purging...
(I can honestly blame a lot of this on my daughters [4 under the age of 11, so I get confused between the radio versions and KIDZ BOP] and my girlfriend [15 years younger than me, but HEY])
Uptown Funk (Bruno can SING, but I would've loved to have heard James Brown do this with his band - WOW!)
The Hustle - Van McCoy
Call Me Maybe
I'm a Slave for You
Bits and pieces of Macklemore, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift and One Republic are genuinely catchy and memorable (but then so is smallpox, so YMMV).
no guilt for TS in my house
Separate names with a comma.
