SOLD HAMER CRUISE BASS - USA 80s set neck w/ OHSC

    Here's one you don't see every day: this is the original series Hamer Cruise Bass, which is an all-mahogany set-neck model. The original pickups were gone when I got it, but, it's got a nearly-new set of Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders in it---the punchy QPs balance well with the mellow mahogany to produce a fairly even, articulate tone that sits well with a band.

    This bass has definitely seen some use and has some chips and dings, which I've tried to show in the photos. Some people pay a premium to have their basses artificially relic-ed; this is the real deal! The original receipt from when the bass was bought back in 198X is still in the case.

    The neck on this bass is wide but thin. Playability is great! It weighs in at 9 pounds.

    Nope, this is the earlier version of the Cruise Bass. It has a Schaller-style bridge.

    It may look a little cruddy in this picture, but all the rollers move.

    Yes, the case is fully functional and in pretty good shape for being 25+ years old.
