    ALL-

I play in an acoustic rock/Bluegrass/newgrass band at the moment and am looking for suggestions on a head that may be a good option for an UPB. I'd like to get something nice for around $350-$600

I'll be using this with a 4x10 cab and with/without my Fishman Pro EQ platinum so I don't nec need something with an onboard EQ right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Acoustic Image Clarus (USED to meet your budget)

GK...pretty much anything in the RB range or an MB200.

BTW, don't assume that the Pro EQ will be enough. You can never have too much EQ to deal with amplified DB! Both the AI and GK heads have very useful EQs fpr DB.

I've had very good experience with Euphonic Audio and Phil Jones stuff. Buy used.

    Pickup? Mic?
EA Doubler used if you can find one. I saw one here in TB classifieds for just below $600, once.

Yea sorry should have been URB but you get it haha. Using a full circle pickup.

I'll watch the classifieds here and check out a few from acoustic or GK.

I like Acoustic bass amps for my bass guitar but be sure you look as Acoustic Image not Acoustic. Acoustic amps do not sound good with an upright.
