Gettin some ideas for the next NGJB show?
That was killer!
Yea... That was pretty cool!
A Dingwall too!
I wish every band did this, if not just their bassist...
I'd say. I so WANT the new Hero3!!
Haha my video would be boring compared to that!
Hi everyone, I just came across this thread and wanted to say thanks for sharing my video.
If you have any questions, fire away!
Oh, and yes it was a GoPro
Adam! What's up man. Just had to post some fellow MD'er love. Sick vid and sick chops. Love the new album :-D
That was jaw dropping Awesome!
Do you use any type of effects?
I'm gonna bet an AxeFX is a main part of it. That's Periphery's thing!
Awesome, thanks so much dude!
Not really, my signal chain is fairly simple. I do use a compressor to get some extra punch but other than that it's just a simple split clean/distortion setup.
What cabs were you running?
Hi! We actually don't use any cabs live, all of our tones are produced by our Axe-FX units and run direct to the front of house, and to our in-ear monitors. The Axe-FX is providing a cabinet simulation though, which is a custom impulse I made based on recording tones I use in the studio.
The other piece of the puzzle I haven't mentioned yet is the Darkglass B7K, which is the base of the distorted tone I use.
Darkglass is taking over on talkbass it seems! I gotta see what all the fuss is about.
I had no idea the bass part to that song was that complex and that tone is to die for!
Pretty cool of Adam to drop by and answer a few questions.
