Hey guys and gals. New to bass guitar but have been playing acoustic guitar recreationally for 10 years. Total newbie with everything electric. Amps, effects, etc.

Glad to find a place that can help me learn about all things bass.

Your acoustic rhythm guitar experience will flow right into your bass lines. We do not strum, however, play the notes of the chord one note at a time. Your arpeggio patterns will transfer right over.

Bass Guitar for Dummies is a great book to help you get started.

    Have fun.
