I'm now playing with a band that tunes in drop D, so I want a bass to noodle around in standard tuning at home. I've checked some used stuff around my area and I've narrowed it down to these four:

    1) Epiphone Jack Cassady
    2) Epiphone Les Paul Standard Bass (not the current ''special'' version)
    3) Epiphone Ripper (the one with a p+j configuration)
    4) This monster http://bajistas.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40197

I guess I'm looking for a relatively versatile bass to use for indie rock/alt rock. Which one would you choose?
