I was wondering if one of you fine fellows could give me the distance between the 20th fret and the center line of the E&A coil, and then the center line of the D&G coil. Either metric or imperial is fine. Thanks!

Mine is 4 7/8 inches and 6 inches
That is starting the tape measure on 20th fret with the fret holding the start of the measure
I would imagine that measurement would change depending on the bass though, but not by much.

Seems like there is a bit of variation between models. I ask because I'm planning a custom that I want to cover precision and jazz sounds (I realize that I'll have to compromise a bit), and I've been mulling over pickup locations. I tend to not like pups in the Jazz neck position, so I wanted to know where the P pup is.

    Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone! One more thing - could you guys give me the measurement of the 20th fret to the center between the two coils?
