How can I get a clear and smooth high fret sound like this?

    Hi folks,

    I really like the sound of this bassist when he plays at high notes for example at 1.06, 1.16, 1.35-1.42 :bassist:
    Are those sound come from technique or his bass or effect?
    How can I get this kind of sound?

    Buy a Sadowsky. Plug it in. The Alder / Rosewood Sad's just drip that kind of growel on the bottom, smooth on top thing.

    Good lord... there are so many other reasons to love that video other than the bass, and just as many to hate it... either way, that sound comes from technique more than anything else
