A friend of mine has acquired a bass that is believed to be previously owned by Phil Soussan. Its a white 5 string Spector with Phil's name all over the case. He's not looking to sell it, but was just curious how to go about finding out if it was in fact owned by Phil. He didnt buy it for that reason, but it would be kind of cool if it was. Any help would be appreciated.

Short of getting a response from Phil I don't think there is any other way to authenticate it.

You could try contacting Spector with the SN and see if they tell you who it was sold to but I highly doubt they would do that.
