I don't need no stinkin' golf clubs. I want to ride around on an all-terrain electric skateboard for fun.

What kind of cool tech would you use for other than it was intended for?

Only $3,600 each. Hopefully some demos show up at the local courses here so I can try one.

Yes, I can see it now,,,,, you fall over and the dang throttle sticks wide open dragging you around the course through sand and shrub till you come to an abrupt stop at that big oak tree ( insert cartoon impact noises here)

Looking around at most golf courses, I really don't see the core strength on everyone to handle one of these in most foursomes either due to age or weight. A neat idea, but takes out some of the reasons why some golf which is the peace, time away from stress (spouse), the social aspect and exercise. Walking a course is better for you than riding this board in the long run. Also, if the group in front of you aren't using one....a lot of waiting around.

Looks fun but I can't see it being a big seller.

That was kind of my point. I don't really see it as a vehicle for golfing so much as something to play with per se. I say they should expand their marketing.

I work in the golf industry. I know I'd be throwing people off the course for jackassing with these every bloody day. They would be all over the damn place causing damage.

What, do you think I would be better of with a PS4? At least I'd be getting outside to play with one of these. (as if I actually had that kind of money)

let me give you a few points to consider

    - liabilities... if someone gets hurt falling off one of these contraptions, who is going to pay the lawyers?? Because you know there will be law suits.

    - damages... who is going to pay for damages.

    - dealing with folks who come in complaining about people on these things jacking around.

    - dealing with a pissed off greens super who has to fix/cost damage caused by these things. There will be damage.

I assume he's responding to the product, not your posts.

Just remember, it's not always about you.

I was talking about the product for use on golf courses... what they are advertising it for.
As for what you want to use it for... I don't really care, as long as you stay off my lawn with it LOL. Let your freak flag fly.
