I've built 3 Geckos from Warmoth, but I've grown weary of the limited options for the 6-strings.

I need to find a new source for mid- to high-end 6-string bodies and necks.

    Help?!?

You'll have to look around to see if you can find someone here who does stuff you like. The pros can't solicit or even contact you until you contact them per the Policies of Talkbass. Finding one to do parts may be hard.

    thanks for the reply!
I notice that you are a builder...
...but i am guessing that you prefer to to complete everything you start?

I have done parts for people before, and it never goes well. Because they want it like warmoth, Order it and have it a week later. You try to explain your build times are 4 to 7 months because you are busy and they get bitchy, so I just avoid doing parts unless I have time. There are a lot of guys here doing cool stuff that could use the work. If you want some help, let me know, maybe I can pont you in a good direction.

I would lovvvve some good leads!

I enjoy putting together the wood, electronics and hardware, but I just can't do the wood work. I'd love someone that can help me with that part. probably no wacky woods or shapes...

    i appreciate any help!

If you want a parts bass, why not buy something second hand in need of love and refinished and rebuild it. Then you can avoid the hardcore woodwork, but have a lot more options...
