1. Welcome to TalkBass 2014! If you're new here, we just went through a major site upgrade. Please make yourself at home! I've deleted the previous "migration" threads, please post all concerns and bugs to the Forum Usage Issues forum. We will be monitoring that forum.

The TalkBass iphone/android app is NOT WORKING currently. We're working on it. Tapatalk IS working, so if you need to use an app, use Tapatalk. Try using your browser though - TalkBass is now 100% responsive to your phone/tablet screen size ;)

Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

I would appreciate some help

    +1

OP, you will note a difference in sound between each of the pickups. You can get a degree of tone control from favouring one pickup over the other.

Does anyone know how to remove the knobs on an Ignition bass? I want to replace them with the white type that I think look better. There's no grubscrew and I've pulled as hard as I dare so far without success. Any advice?

    Zombie!

Take a towel and slide the edge under the skirt of the knob. Wrap the edge of towel around and under the entire knob. Gather towel all in one hand so it is holding the knob evenly from under and wont slip out. Pull up. It will pop right off
