Recently bought a japanese lawsuit bass (very happy with btw), but I was just trying to find the cover for it. If anyone has one lying around, I'de buy it from them...

I know that most people just remove those covers (like rickenbackers) but I always had a thing for them. In the attachment, its the exact bass on the right.

Realistically, I won't find one and nobody will respond...:bawl:

If you are talking about that cover that goes over the strings I might be able to help you out. I got the one off my Penco EB-3 that I don't intend to put back on the bass. PM me if that's what you're talking about.

I just sold an Electra lawsuit bass yesterday that looks like that slot head ibanez that was also missing the cover.

:meh:Well what I have is apparently a bridge cover. Oddly enough I did not take any pictures of the bass with it on. I don't know if this is going to work for you as it does not look like what the picture had in your post.
The dimensions are...5 inches long...1 and 9/16 wide...1 and 1/8 inches tall. The Hole spacing is 4 and 13/16.
Here are some bad pictures I attempted to take tonight. I don't know if that footprint will work out for you.

ahhhhhhhhhhh no no, its not the bridge cover I needed. On the picture, its the one on the right hand side. The one closer to the pickups.

You really had me going... I appreciate it though!
