    Hey everyone!

I just got myself a used Ibanez SR505, bubinga - great looks, pretty good feel. I wonder however, since the active/passive operation is switched by means of pulling the volume pot, what is the function of the little toggle switch? Is it some sort of slap EQ function or what?

towards the strings is 250hz, towards the jack output is 600hz

the on/off push/pull volume pot thing is somethin' common so many out there do.

I did the same with a Yamaha Bb614 (go figure): it's a small capacitor to insert, so nothin' troublesome... I just want you to be aware midfreq switch is stock, on/off push/pull is not.
