Idiotbox Mad Doctor Stutter

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Larmer, Feb 2, 2014.

  1. I should imagine that for full dub-step effectiveness you'd need to use the Expression pedal functionality... try it! The pedals are cheap but excellent if my Frequency Mangler is anything to go by! I love it! I try for something similar with a couple of serious tremolo pedals... similar barring the fact you can't get the gradual sweep from slow to fast and vice versa... Effect is comparable though! Good luck!

I use mine a lot, an expression pedal is essential (the usable range depends greatly on EP resistance, so multiple expression pedals are even better :p). Works great for sharply re-triggering envelope filters. It can also emulate a bitcrusher when you use it for quick short blips and use OD/fuzz. Matt said he's working on a channel-switching stereo version, can't wait to get my hands on one of those!
