Just thought I would throw it out there in case anyone is interested. IK Multimedia (the Amplitube folks) are running a group buy right now...If you buy Amplitube 3 (for half price) you get 1 free software extension (Ampeg SVX, Orange, Slash, etc...) for free...the more people that buy, the more free packs you unlock...right now, it's up to two. For example I bought Amplitube 3 and got Ampeg SVX and Orange.

Just thought some of you guys might be interested.

Btw. They extended the offer until March 9th. Let's hope we get enough people to get a 4th software for free :)

This is just the best deal that has ever existed.

Amplitube 3, Fender, Orange and Ampeg now. I can't imagine we'd not get the 4th one for free.

I agree man...pretty amazing deal. I have been real impressed with the tones I have gotten out of the Ampeg pack...I haven't even gotten a chance to scratch the surface of amplitube, orange and fender yet. If we get the 4th, I'll def be getting the metal pack :D

I wouldn't, from what I can tell the metal amps are all included with Amplitube 3. Better to go for the Hendrix/Slash pack I'd say.

Yeah, the Ampeg stuff is nice - I've found it really useful for getting nice 60's/70's soul and reggae tones. For anything modern though, it's the Amplitube 3 gallien kruger all the way! Though the orange is a nice bass amp too.

Thanks for the heads up on the metal pack. I'll check out the Hendrix or Slash instead. Yeah...that Gallien Kruger setting in Amplitube sounds fantastic too.

    I went ahead and joined.

I had some Custom Shop Credits, I was kind of hanging onto them to see what was coming for SampleTank 3, but this just seemed too good pass.
It them all now, and Wow, these are great packages.

I'll still end up getting SampleTank 3 when it comes out - hope they have a group buy.
