Hey guys. I just received my inlay stickers from Jocko and I want to know if there is an easy way to measure and layout the locations along the fretboard. Thanks

I don't remember who I bought mine from on ebay, but they were celtic crosses. Somewhat thin underneath crossover section then tapering thicker at the bottom.
I cut them out individually as rough cut around each decal.
Having gotten the strings out of the way, I laid them out over the inlay dots.
Since they decals vary in size to fit between the narrowing fret distance, at some point the inlay dots started showing up as they were wider than the decal. I used a black sharpie on them to cover the difference. Mine has an ebony fretboard.
I laid them out across the neck over each dot and just eyeballed them in the center of the frets.

I did the trapezoid decals over a year ago.

After obsessing about it I finally just eyeballed it.

    Looks good.

I put plain dot stickers on a fingerboard with no position markers.

Just eyeballed the placement, using the strings as reference. Came out fine.
