kind of like an old Japanese tune bass body with a musicman headstock on LSD.

I'd be careful buying any bass without the plug though. the thing will leak all over the place.

I see the Tune style body, but i've never strung a G string UNDER the *reverse* tuner. :rollno:  Innovative?

Or as you said.... LSD? Quite possibly.

"...not sure if it needs anything else." and "...great bass for
professional recording" Can we keep these somewhere and start a collection of these CL treasures? They are gems in the rough and just need a little TLC. I see car, truck, and camper ads like these all the time. "Item has a dozen things
wrong with it but sure it would be a cheap and easy fix...just haven't got around to doing it myself."

If that first bass some how was on my front door step and offered to me for $20 I would bite just for parts and burn the body. Its not even worth spending moments of your life to go get that piece of crap.

Right?? i wouldn't even spend the $20 on it. I just thought i'd share the awesomeness with TB. I can't get over the string that's wrapped around the back of the headstock, under the tuner. I would love to have been there when the guy had THE moment..., "Hey, this is a GREAT idea!!!".

I'd buy it for parts alone. Not a bad deal in that respect.

Haha yeah I cant figure out what he was thinking and a old gibson tuner to. Even if it had a jack I dont think that bass would be very playable at all.

    Wow, I could buy that!

I wouldn't but I could - I'm ashamed to say I live in the same city as that abused bass!
