Whats with the front pickup being the same length as the standard 93mm REAR J length ?, it makes the outer pole piece sit way out from the string possibly rendering it useless. Is this a standard Tribby Trait or do some have the std 91mm front and 93mm rear depending on manufacture?, all the photos of JB-2`s ive seen have the outer pole away from the E and G string, it does`nt seem to affect performance though, this Bass has some serious honk, just thinking if it would have more if the poles were more aligned. Thinking that if I were to "upgrade" the pickups Id need two rears otherwise there`d be a huge cavity either side of the front pickup, not sure if you can successfully fit two split coil rear`s, thought they had to be front/rear ?.
    Thanks for any comments
