A few months ago visited a big musicstore in Cologne (Germany)
I fell in love with the looks of a Ibanez SR5005E and asked a testcase.
Wow what an instrument. So much better than my LTD F-414FM.
I had to own one but didn't had the cash at that time. So i start saving :)

Today I received my SR5005E and I'm very happy with it.

Sweet bass! I love the Ibbys as well, the prestige series are very fine instruments...they have a super tight feel to them in all respects

Same here, those necks spoil you with how good they feel! You only want to play Ibanez after that :bassist:

Congrats! That’s a beautiful bass and one that give me some serious GAS as well. I love the SR prestige basses.

It's practically glowing in the case!

Congrats and enjoy the comfortable neck!

We expect sound samples within 24 hours.

  9. It's a beauty! I wouldn't mind owning a SR5006 myself.

Congrats!! It's so freaking awesome, isn't it? :hyper: If everything goes right, I will buy the Premium 1206e-vnf around summer. I would like to have te 5006e, but it's a bit too expensive for me :p

    Furthermore:
    - Ibanez SR1206E Premium is a great bass and Nordstrands are
    sublime;
    - Ibanez is raisin' its whole catalog this year, so Premiums will
go well thru > $. 1,000.00: try to figure how much Prestiges
    are goin' out for!

    Cheers,
    Wallace

    Great!

You know, although I want a Premium (or Prestige), I like the looks of the new BTB 1406e as well! But it's neck through and I totally dislike neck through.. Bolt on is what I prefer! :p:D

It's a stunning looking bass for sure ;) My beef with the 140X model was that the top really didn't look tasty enough (I liked a lot more the 120X version) - but this one...yum yum :) They've really nailed it this time :) IMO it looks better than the Prestige models :)
