I have a Kala spruce top on the way. Piezo pickup with active EQ and tuner. Does it get plugged into the active or passive input on the amp? Battery? Thanks for any info.

    either way that sounds best.
I've had an Ortega that sounded better in the passive input with the preamp turned down a bit.

The only diff I find is the the volume boost u get from the passive output. I run all my active basses that way.
