Just wondering. I'm considering buying one. Seller says the original pickups are in working condition. What do you guys think?

I had one for years, bought it new in the 80s. Mine was all maple and it was heavy, but a great sounding and playing bass. I ended up tearing the frets out with a pair of pliers and putting silly putty in the fret slots, just kidding but i did convert it to fretless. It sounded great, but i have never been a fretless player. To me, this is a decent price.

Haha, that's hilarious. Well, I just might buy it. And my original intention was to convert it into a fretless!

Assuming the electronics are ok, that bass in that condition is absolutely worth $500
