Came across a used Made in Korea Fender Jazz. I have seen the MIK stuff before however never a bass like this in the sense it is not a Squier model and features the Silver Fender logo and a serial silver in color (like the Japanese models typically did) that starts with "E" followed by seven numbers. Upon looking on Fender's site for product dating for Korean made basses/guitars there was no E+5,6,7 digits, but there is a 6,7,8 digits is 1988-1996...so can I assume this bass is from some year between '88 and '96 then? It also features the exposed ground wire between the bridge and bridge pickup again like some of the Japanese models. Any ideas?
