I am considering to try out these strings on my fretless. Do these strings behave more like flats and get better over time or like rounds and lose their brightness?

These are not bright sounding strings to begin with (using a common SS string like Rotosounds as a reference). I just put a set on my Stingray about 3 weeks ago and they are not your typical SS sounding string. To my ears, they are between a SS and nickel plated steel for sound, but feel as smooth as nickel wounds. I'm really liking them so far. I haven't noticed any tone change so far, if that's any help.

Tension feels about the same as a standard D'Addario nickel plated set (105's). The LaBellas have a thinner core wire with a double outer wrap so are still flexible and very comfortable to play.

So you would put them at light or medium?
