Could someone take a minute as a favor to me, and take a pic of the wiring on your Lakland DJ. I received mine after it has had pickups swapped in and out, and I believe it's wired up incorrectly. There is a HUGE bottom end drop out when both pickups are at full, and a huge bottom increase when the neck pickup is rolled off just slightly. I'm familiar with jazz style basses and the eccentricities of the pickups in relation to each other. This is much more than "normal".

I'm perfectly capable of rewiring, I just need a pic or a diagram to go by.

    Thanks.

Of of the pickups is out of phase. Reverse the leads on one of the two. Doesn't matter which one.

    All the best,

    Bob

You get this sorted? If not PM me. I'll shoot some pics of what I took out.
