Let's Try This Again: Punchy, Middy J pickups

    So I've been told that getting a pseudo stingray sound out of a jazz bridge pickup won't happen so what about a bridge pickup for a jazz that's going to give me a nice aggressive midrangey tone.

    Fender makes some nice J pickups.

    "punchy & middy" is what J bridge pickups do.

    get a good classic-voiced set of whatever and you'll be in the ballpark.

    Nordstrand Nj4se. Very strong lower mids for a J bridge pickup.
