Hey! Anyone know if this is possible:

In bypass, have the pedal pass no signal? Muted until engaged?

This is for Jojo's delay... The direct signal in bypass is always annoying.

Hoping its as easy as cutting a trace or two...

  4. A small bypass looper or kill switch would be simpler to add rather than a mod IMO.

DL4 sucks tone but is an amazing pedal.

I would have to say that with the expression control it's a totally different beast.

If you're getting it modded it's worth the expression mod unless you prefer a rocker pedal for control.

For this, I'd have to say that a Line6 M9 would probably be worth the extra cash if you're getting a DL4 to mod, but if you have one already, mods are a great way to go.

I have a Pigtronix Disnortion that, to mod properly, costs about the same as a new pedal. Something to consider weighing effectively.

Yeah, but you know what they say about drummers.... :)

Seriously, the DL4 is just so integrated to our live set and Jojo has his sounds and setting together and it's second nature for him. Having to hit a kill switch with the heel of his hihat foot and select the right setting would be too complicated.
