I'm looking to expand my collection of recordings from bassists on the upright end of things... I generally hang in the electriuc world, but love the playing of Dan Berglund (EST & Tonbruket)and Lars Danielsson. I'm pretty up to date on the classic players (Holland, Carter, Peacock, etc), but looking to see if there are perhaps some more "rock-ish" groups out there with killer double bass players.

    Recommendations??

(Not really a McBride or Wood fan so you can skip those genres.)

Missy Raines and the New Hip are rockish.
Devil Makes 3 rock out sans drums.
