I absolutely love DR Nickel Lo-Riders on my Squier Jazz bass. They sound exactly like a jazz bass should with lots of growl, and they're easy on the fingers.

I also have them on my Washburn Force 4 ABT, and they sound...good- different than on the jazz bass, but still OK. I think though that I'd like to try something different for this active pickup bass. I'd like to try something that will give me a very different tone than the jazz. Something maybe without the "growl". Any suggestions? Thanks!
