I play in Traditional Cajun Band. One of my best friends who was the accordionist and vocalist died from a viral pneumonia. We were in the same groups for five years. Just feeling so numb. We talked almost daily. The band will not be the same we have lost our personality.

It does a little, he would actually listen, I could tell him what I needed to say and he would always respond back. If we got into a disagreement we could talk to each other and that was it, it was done with! Here is a video we did in October, I know most of you guys are rock, jazz, funk. Down here we are a little different, it's traditional music.

RIP Pat, He is the guy on accordion

  11. Very sorry for your loss. We lost our fiddle player this year who really defined our bands sound. Losing a fellow musician is tough, losing a friend is tougher.

Many condolences. And thanks for the great band video; great players. Love those Cajun accents from the hosts too.

I have heard of your group - so sorry for your loss. When I was 20, we lost the lead singer of our horn band in an automobile accident - killed by a drunk driver. We carried on, but it was never the same. I hope that ya'll can keep on keeping on !
