Hey guys, when gigging with my 2009 fender p road worn , I noticed my low E string ( when played open E) is not as loud as the fretted notes I play on that string ot other strings. Any ideas or adjustments..
    Thanks rob bass..

If the open low E is significantly less loud than the first fret F, I would look to a problem with the nut. Maybe it isn't seated right or cracked, or the slot is cut too wide. Just guesses, but since the nut is the only difference between an open string and fretted notes, that's where I would look.
