Soooooooo, after practice I was leaving church with my sub-1 EUB and the strap on the case broke. Bass fell flat on the ground. Initial inspection seemed like it was ok. Went to tune it the next day before the service and it was a bit flat. So I tune up a smidge and CRACK! headstock is cracked nearly in half. I know a good luthier and he said he could most likely fix it no problem. Scary part is he said he will need to break it the rest of the way, then glue it back together! :crying: Since its structural and not tonal, I'm not too worried if it IS fixed about the sound. But man it's got me bummed.:bawl:

Sorry to hear about your bass. I hate hearing about things like this because I believe everyone else who has one adores theirs like I adore mine. I'm sure the luthier can get it back in shape for you, it doesn't sound like a bad repair.

I had a friend of mine have an amp head fall on his bass in the back of a van on the way to a gig and broke the whole neck clean off! I've been lucky so far.. knock knock...
