I bought the Marco TFL from Atlanta Bass Gallery last year. It is the most beautiful bass I've ever owned and it has basically sat in it's case and it is in mint condition. There are zero scratches or dings in the body.

    The specs are as follows:

    • Ash Body Core
    • Maple Neck
    • 24-Fret Impregnated Spalted Maple Board
    • Marco Pickups
    • Aguilar Pre
    • Black Hardware
    • Vol,Vol,Treb,Mid,Bass,Mid Switch, Act-Pass Switch

Paper sticker is no longer on electronics compartment cover. The plastic is black (not paper brown).

I would like to sell this bass however I would consider a trade for a vintage 60's Fender Precision or Jazz Bass, Custom Shop P or J, Sadowsky Jazz (5 string), or Mike Lull Jazz (5 string). I paid $3,000 for the bass when it was new and asking price is [DEL]$2300[/DEL] $1999 and I will pay half of shipping costs (sale only). Bass will be shipped in a hard case.

Thanks! Personally I think it is one of his most beautiful creations. Bass plays/sounds great to. I have a Sadowsky and Lull and I think this bass sits right in the middle between the two.

I'm 6'1" and to me the neck feels a little wide, thin, smooth, and fast. Overall the bass is very responsive and easy to play.

Tone wise, the bass is capable of a lot. It can do everything farm warm and fuzzy to bright, snappy, and clean. Lots of flexibility with the Aguilar OBP-3 preamp and mid-boost switches. Love the tone. If anything, I'd say that there is too much to choose from.

It's a really big body right? Bigger than the standard Fender Jazz right?

It is slightly larger than a fender jazz. Overall, the bass is very comfortable and fast.

The angle of this photo isn't the best. This is the photo that the Atlanta Bass Gallery had on their website when I bought the bass. It makes the body look larger than what it really is. The bass is currently on consignment at Atlanta Bass Gallery.

The blue bass in the photo is a Mike Lull which is close to Fender dimensions.

So is it wider and longer than a standard Jazz?

Where I notice the extra size in the body is the lower region near the output jack and the upper horn. Overall, the bass is proportionately wider and longer than a jazz, but not by much. To give you the best answer, I would have to go to Bass Gallery after Christmas and bring it home and take a picture of it next to my Jaco Fretless. If you'd like for me to do it, I'd be more than happy to.
