    Anyone know what gauge Marcus uses? His website doesn't specify...

    To my knowledge, Marcus uses DR Fat Beams MMS which are gauged 105 80 65 45.

    Any idea why the A string is lighter and the rest are mediums? :confused:

    That's just a nod to the classic gauges of the Rotosound Swing Bass set, which MM used back in his NYC days.

    Its not, the D-sting is heaver than all the rest. Make the D-string a .060 and you have a balance set.
