I've been thinking about getting the Markbass SD 1200, 1200 watt amp. I just tried it out today at GC and was certainly happy with it's tonal characteristics and funcions.
Does anyone have opinions and/or feedback on this new amp?

I love the 800. Love. One of my favorite amps.

You might be the first one to try one. I believe they just started shipping.

I'd be curious to know if the tone is similar to the 800 series, or if it is a somewhat differently voiced amp than the SD800 or LM800.

Has anyone else used a Markbass SD1200?

Opinions and comments would be appreciated...

My hope is that it will be a 1200W F1/F500 :hyper:

    Play guitar.
Best way to do that is to get a 1200 watt power amp and use the F1 as a pre amp. ;)

I really like my SD800, and regret that I need that I have to sell it. Matched up REALLY well with the CL108. Wide range of tones there...

Thought of that also, looking for it to be an all one portable unit.

Picking up one tomorrow at GC and will give it a whirl
