Hi guys, i want to get me one of this to go with my mb lmiii. I need it to go as low in freq as possible since i play synth like bass. I see both have almost the same freq specs. There is a good used 12 in the local gc. Im wondering if i should get that or a 15. Would it make a lot of difference?
    Thanks

I have the Berlin combo with a NY151 extension cab and love the 2 15 approach with the LMIII. Many others here favor the 12s. Either will get the job done.

Depending on the cab, a 12 can kick a 15's butt or vice-versa. Question: How loud do you need to play low? If it's in your living room to practice, you have many options open. If you want to go low in a band with a live drummer, choices dwindle rapidly for single driver cabs.

*** Edit: I forgot the title after I read your question. You're trying to determine between two cabs from the same manufacturer, so scratch the comment about cab design considerations. The question remains: How loud do you need it?
