How many amps would a Marshall MB15 Practise-amp use off the AC circuit?

    Amp is 8" woofer........rated 15 watts.

How many amps do the bigger Bass amps use for that matter?

    Thanks.........:)

I'd be surprised it the MB15 pulled more than an amp at full volume when hitting a string really hard. I wouldn't even worry about it for a second.

As for what other amps draw, that would depend on the amp.

Also makes a difference if you are in a 115V or 220V part of the world.

It is not an easy question to answer. The MB15 maximum inrush current (at startup) for 115vac would be 5 amps. Average current in use is much less.
The current draw of an amp depends on power output, efficiency of the design and power level you play at. Inrush current and idle current will also vary according to the same things as previously mentioned.
