I have a daphne blue fender bass that me and my automotive painter have been trying to match for almost a week... It is for some trim on my amp. Napa has nothing close and the only crossover code I could find that used ditzler gave me a midnight dark blue :(. I have heard to use reranch and I could order directly from dupont but I'm afraid they won't match as I've read stories. Our paint we have been mixing is NEARLY the same as daphne blue but a little brighter, anyone have experience on how to shade it without losing the color tone(so far we just have white, baby blue, and green in it)? Or any experience and comments with reranch or dupont matching? Thanks again.
  2. To take the edge off the brightness, you can add a tiny bit from the opposite side of the color wheel (which, in this case, would be orange). Done prudently, it will just take the edge off the intensity.

But, I'm sure your color guy knows this already. At least, I would hope he would.

Have you checked out this guy?
